About Us

Star STEAM Explorers is a  Homeschool Co-op Offering Hands-On STEAM Classes and Nature Exploration.

Art Club

Art Club is a monthly, no-pressure gathering for young artists ages 5–10 to create and socialize, and enjoy free play. There are no formal lessons—children are free to draw, paint, and explore their creativity. Siblings are welcome. We meet on the first Thursday of each month from 1:00PM-3:00PM in Star.

Why Families Choose Star STEAM Explorers

What if the future scientist, engineer, or inventor in your family is 8 years old right now?

Research shows that 53% of adults who were exposed to STEAM concepts in elementary school go on to work in STEAM-related careers. Early experiences matter. When children are given opportunities to explore science, build, experiment, and ask questions while they’re young, it can shape the way they see the world—and their place in it.

Star STEAM Explorers gives homeschool children these early opportunities. Our mission is to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence through interactive STEAM activities, nature-based learning, and meaningful social connections.

Here, children don’t just learn about science and engineering—they build, test, explore, and discoverlearn in nature, and make friends in a supportive homeschool community.

We offer flexible options for families, including drop-off enrichment classes and parent-child meetups. Siblings of all ages are welcome, making it easy for families to learn, connect, and explore together. Based in Star, Idaho, Star STEAM Explorers serves homeschool families throughout the Treasure Valley with hands-on STEAM learning, nature exploration, and community connections for children ages 2–12.
